Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Pickgap (pickgap.com), including the free checker, the web app, reports and emails. By creating an account or running a check you agree to them. If you use Pickgap for an agency or company, you agree for it too.

What Pickgap does

Pickgap asks AI surfaces (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode) questions about local businesses through their APIs and a Google-results service, and reports how often each business is named. Results are a standardized test at a point in time. They can differ from what a person sees in the consumer apps, and they are not a promise of how any engine will answer in future. See how we measure. Fixes raise a business's chances of being recommended; we don't control what AI says and don't promise any ranking.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace.
• Workspace owners manage members, billing and branding. Members can add businesses and run scans.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.

Acceptable use

• Only add businesses you have a legitimate reason to research, such as your own, your clients' or your prospects'.
• Don't use the free checker to scrape results at scale, get around its limits, or run automated checks.
• Don't misrepresent reports: keep the date and the sample size with any result you share.
• Don't upload logos or content you don't have the right to use.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules or put the service or other customers at risk.

Plans, trials and billing

• Every workspace starts with a 7-day trial with no card. Plan limits are shown on the pricing page and in Billing.
• Paid plans renew monthly or annually until cancelled. Lemon Squeezy is our merchant of record and processes payments, tax and invoices under its own terms.
• Plans have fixed limits and no credits or overage fees. Reaching a limit never adds a charge; the app shows the plan that lifts it.
• Cancel any time from Billing in your account; your plan runs to the end of the paid period, and you can resume it until then. Payments are not refunded for partial periods unless the law requires it.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next renewal.

Your content

You own the data you add (businesses, client contacts, logos) and the reports made from it. You give us permission to process it to run the service. White-label reports are yours to send to your clients.

Third-party services

Pickgap depends on AI engines, Google and other providers. Their answers, prices and availability are outside our control. If an engine stops answering, scans may complete with partial data, and reports say so.

No warranty

Pickgap is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available but don't guarantee that results are error-free, that the service is uninterrupted, or that any fix will change how an engine answers.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about Pickgap is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business.

Ending the service

You can stop using Pickgap and ask us to delete your workspace at any time. We may end these terms with notice if we discontinue the service, and will give you time to download your reports.

Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we will email workspace owners before they take effect.
